Hackers are more desperate than ever!
Over the last week and a half the Graebtech Servers, home to all Gamestats resources, has recieved daily DDoS, Port Scans, and as of earlier today 435,000 failed SSH login attempts since early last week.
The IPs of the attackers range from Romania, Russia, USA, and Indonesia.
So far the server is holding out, and i have rotated all administrative port numbers to random sequences.
Anyone who has a site on my network will no longer have SFTP Access untill they contact me to reset there credentials and get the new port numbers.
So Far the last attempt at DDoS was yesterday afternoon, and the failed logins have stopped for the moment because of my changing ports on there asses.
These conditions have prompted me to move forward ahead of schedule on my server upgrades, next week around the middle of the week, i will be migrating the entire network back to Arizona from Florida and Re-colocating it in phoenix, downtime will be a day or so, i have new servers here i am transferring all data to remotely so the system is not down while UPS brings me the old servers.
The new Servers bear the Following Specs: - Custom Built by ME AMD Opteron X4 CPU @ 2.6Ghz 4GB RAM LSI Logic RAID Storage 2 x Seagate Baracuda SATA Drives
The old server were: - Dell ala Carte Garbage Pentium 4 2.0Ghz 2GB RAM SCSI Storage

I just recieved confirmation that EA GAMES of British Columbia is WATCHING Gamestats activities, ooooh We are so scared arent we!
Pending the Release of Patch 1.50 EA Games is trying to block all methods of alternative rankings to further money grub you hard pressed gamers and Gamestats is being singled out among 3 other simular sites. EA has made no attempt to contact Gamestats, but has been caught monitoring the sites activities for at least several weeks.
Lets see whos smarter, Paid EA Programmers, or someone else!

MasterX is out of action...
MX has been in a car accident, hes gonna be OK, but he has a badly injured right knee, and right arm. He cant sit with hos knee for long before he has to stand or laydown to release the pressure and pain in his leg so he may not be online at least for a few days, possibly more. He doesnt have any broken bones, but the damage to his knee is pretty bad, mostly deep cuts but the dash of his car was forced into the knee with such force his knee broke through and was inside the dash! Suprisingly he is walking, but barely. His arm looks fine to the outside, but somehow the mucles were seriously strained to the point he cant lift his arm higher than his chest before he drops it in pain.

You get a windows box, 512mb - 3 GB of RAM, unlimited bandwidth, and 1 or 2 ips. You get remote desktop with administrator access to install the gameservers of your choice, alternativly you can get a shared server setup for you from a lower price, any interest???

Gamestats Playerstats Blank Error
Yes I am aware of the blank Player profiles, rest assured your stats are fine, the Database is just choking on a server miscomunication which has thrown off the syntax on one section of a table, as a side-effect the PHP has nearly no immunity to syntax errors and crashes evertime it hits one! The top 150 still works fine!
I will continue fixing the error when i get home from work!
UPDATE: I fixed half the bugs, some peoples stats will work others will still whow blank, the rest will come back online as soon as everything is tidy again!
UPDATE: WHEW, after 3 hrs in the database all should be well again, if your stats profile shows up as a blank page report it in the forums with your Player ID and nickname in the General Section!!

For those that have noticed I suddenly dissappeared for the last 3 days there is no reason for concern, My Main Rig lost its motherboard! The new one is already in shipping and will be here late tommorrow.
It only takes me about 30 mins to install a Motherboard and 45 to do a repair install on the OS, so i should be on later tommorrow night! Provided everything works out ok!!
The new board is a XFX NForce 750 based SLI board which should go nicely with my Quad Core!

After popular demand from a lot of players i have decided it is time to expand the Gamestats tracking system to BF2s other popular mods.
